Mr. Warren has two daughters and is married to Stephanie E. Bothwell, a landscape architect and urban planner. He was raised in England, moved permanently to the United States in 1986, and became a U.S. citizen in 1999.

His interests include reading widely in various languages, particularly Arabic, French and Italian, and travel in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He is also an accomplished classical pianist and church organist. Mr. Warren is a member of the Cosmos Club of Washington, DC. www.cosmosclub.org
